An exciting position has become available for a full-time Home Delivery Driver with experience of driving Luton style vans, based in Dukinfield.The successful candidate will earn a competitive salary of £10.50 per hour plus expenses.
Role and Responsibilities:
This role involves delivering high quality household furniture, garden furniture, bedrooms, kitchens and bathroom systems direct to consumers. The key responsibilities are ensuring that the goods are handled with the upmost care. Our customers are high end manufacturers and retailers and professionalism is paramount.
Follow planned routes and instructions.
Communicate with customers, installation teams, office.
Be courteous, polite.
Good appearance.
Ensure all paperwork is completed correctly.
Early starts, late finishes.
2-man teams.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Must have reasonably clean license, need to be able to read and understand instructions, write legibly.
Preferred Skills
Experienced at delivering and handling high quality goods, along with good communication.
Ability to develop and add value to this highly important service.
Additional Notes
This position involves a considerable amount of manual handling and the candidates are required to be reasonably fit and healthy.
