SUMMARY 

Treasury Manager will support all locations from Fredericksburg, VA.  Partner with CFO with shared responsibility for all treasury functions.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES  

Planning and Operations

  • Grow the Treasury function company wide
  • Cash Flow Forecasting
  • Risk Forecasting
  • Cooperation with National Leadership on Strategic Development
  • Ensure Quality of Standards with service providers

Cash and Liquidity Management

  • Work with business to optimize cash flows 
  • Work with business to optimize working capital
  • Confirmation and reconciliation of receipts
  • Monitoring all bank accounts and payment processing

Funding

  • Optimization of capital structure
  • Manage investments
  • Ensure adequate liquidity to support the business
  • Portfolio management of debt and investments

Financial Risk Management

  • Credit risk management
  • Liquidity risk management
  • Involvement with business insurance
  • Interest Rate risk management

Corporate Governance

  • Ensure accurate accounting of Treasury transaction
  • Implement and manage treasury policies and procedures
  • Provision of compliance information to regulators
  • Ensure accurate transaction history and audit trail (reconciliations)
  • Work with internal and external auditors
  • Payment Fraud
  • Business Email Compromise Fraud
  • Impostor Fraud

Stakeholder Relations

  • Provide performance and risk analytics to leadership
  • Manage relationship with banks and credit rating agencies
  • Ensure the Treasury function is understood and valued within the business

  • This position requires travel of approximately 5% of the time.

 

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree 

 

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • 7 years related experience and/or training, licensure preferred.

QUALIFICATIONS

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret the most complex documents.  Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with wide groups of directors and management on Treasury related information to make it understood.  Ability to make effective and presentations on complex topics to top management.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of instructions and deal with several variables.
