Sure Recruitment are excited to be recruiting for a Transport Manager for a well established client in the Livingston area. Working in a busy logistics operation you will manage a fleet of 5 vehicles.
Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous.
Key Duties
Produce next day delivery schedules in line with customer requirements
Multidrop/general haulage planning
Organise 3rd party collections
Liaise with end customer
Liaise with other depots
Secure delivery slots and times for all deliveries
Produce and distribute picking and loading schedules to the warehouse team leader
Manage POD confirmation
Data inputting
Produce drivers manifests
Deal with drivers’ queries, ensure all are compliant with company procedure
Control all filing of drivers daily/weekly documentation
Carry out drivers debrief at end of shift
Ensuring all vehicles/trailers go in for service/MOT when due/booked in
Hours of operation are between 5am and 7pm so a degree of flexibility is required.
