The Role:
Will be to coordinate customer service delivery through the timely provision of Offshore Personnel & Equipment Delivery.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Assist the Operations Manager to filter & process customer and STO sales team technical enquiries in an efficient and personable manner at all times and with the execution of pre & post job meetings with offshore personnel ensuring expectations are communicated clearly and personnel are adequately prepared.
Also, assist to ensure offshore operator documentation is completed on time and to a high standard returning any non-conforming documentation back to the originator until the required standards have been met.
In addition you will need to assist with the planning of in field maintenance and recertification of the hire fleet creating and updating any required documentation and with spare parts ordering, tracking and delivery to the field along with actively participating in personnel planning with the Operations team to select suitable crews for approval to the Operations Manager.
You will provide technical solutions to problems encountered in the field for approval by the Operations Manager(s) and the engineering team and update procedures and processes to continually improve quality of company documentation.
You will participate in AIR investigations in view of providing improvement solutions which will prevent reoccurrence of such events and improve service quality as a result and assist creating Technical Alerts following completed AIR investigations.
You will need to liaise with the offshore team to ensure that new & updated technical material is read, understood and implemented.
Participate in Out of Hours Rota, (cover annual leave only) and ensure all Job Specific Documentation is correctly filed and uploaded to SharePoint.
Travel to customer locations to perform rig surveys and follow up with reporting documentation and on occasion travel at short notice to Scantech & customer locations globally.
You will be required to assist with covering Operations Manager roles during annual leave.
Any other delegated responsibilities as instructed by Line Manager within the timeframe specified, in a safe and efficient manner to meet business requirements, provided the instruction is reasonable and you are deemed competent to fulfil these.
Qualifications:
- Computer literate – Word & Excel with a relative engineering/mechanical qualification.
- Driving License
- Ability to handle a variety of tasks and priorities in accordance with business requirements

- Experience of working in an offshore or overseas environment
- Experienced diesel or steam boiler mechanic
- Experience supervising base operations in a remote location
Who we are looking for:
The person will need to have the ability to establish a good rapport with clients whilst onsite, therefore good communication skills (verbal and written) will be needed.
Strong adaptability and problem solving skills will be required with mechanical experience.
