Work with our customers

You'll be responsible for the go-to-market strategy of our Akamai Cloud Computing business in the US. Collaborating with Sales, Pre-Sales, Product and Marketing leaders, you'll execute market development initiatives. This will drive pipeline, and lead sales programs. You'll close smart deals that deliver material outcomes for customers, and breakout growth for Akamai.

As a Strategic Sales Executive Cloud & Edge Computing, you will be responsible for:

Developing a strategic sales plan, encompassing market development, partnerships, and product development, and accelerating the adoption of Akamai's Cloud Computing Portfolio in the US Market

Leading insightful customer engagements that differentiate Akamai's services at all levels within an enterprise customer

Collaborating with Akamai Sales and Pre-Sales leaders to develop and execute opportunity plans for large enterprise clients

Driving product development and Go to Market initiatives, establishing Akamai as a Cloud Computing leader

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

Have 8 years of relevant experience a Bachelors degree or its equivalent

Have sales experience in Cloud Services (infrastructure and/or Software) in the B2B Enterprise market

Have experience selling into Digital Media, Gaming, and/or SaaS industries

Have a sound understanding of existing and developing cloud technologies and the ability to collaborate with partners and customers to create sales opportunities

Have the knowledge and confidence to execute a challenger sales methodology and create differentiated sales experience

Demonstrate high ethics, integrity, and personal willpower
