An opportunity for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor has become available working for a principle MEP contractor that operate across the rail and energy sectors.
The Senior Quantity Surveyor will focus on the resolution of final accounts on a number of accounts valued between £1.5M — £4M each. The role is outside of IR35 with an expected duration of 9- 12 months.
The Role
This is an autonomous role the Senior Quantity Surveyor will coordinate 3rd party resource such as lawyers / legal advisors and where required manage the input of Quantity Surveyors.
Prepare business cases at each stage of a claim and advise on the next step forward.
Develop and conclude negotiations and ensure claims are resolved as amicably as possible.
Attend dispute resolution meetings.
Experience Required
Suitable Senior Quantity Surveyors will be able to demonstrate solid experience resolving final accounts and disputes. The Senior QS must be able to get into detail quickly and work to tight deadlines, experience in assisting with adjudications is desirable.
