Our Water Group is looking for Senior Civil Designers in multiple locations – including but not limited to Atlanta, Denver, Louisville, Norfolk, and Orlando. The ideal candidate will partner with engineers, project managers and other technical staff in the preparation of drawings, designs, and technical documents for a variety of infrastructure-related projects, primarily involving the design for water/wastewater treatment facilities, pump stations, and wastewater collection systems using Autodesk Revit to create 3-D BIM designs. 


The location of this position is flexible for the right candidate. 


Your Role:

Assist in the design and generation of drawings and 3-D BIM models for a variety of projects using REVIT and other Autodesk products (e.g. building plans and layouts, tanks, piping, structural foundations, section views, and engineering details)

Document changes and manage organization of documents

Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to create a comprehensive model

Communicate results/issues with project team

Prepare and package intermediate and final design plans for submittals

Actively participate in the QA/QC process to ensure project deliverables meet requirements

Ensure CADD standards are followed in creation of drawings

Manage deadlines and the prioritization of assignments

Mentor and train less experienced staff



Associates Degree in Drafting or employer training program

Minimum 8+ years Revit experience in water and wastewater

Experience laying out mechanical process equipment (e.g. large pumps, piping, valves)

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Detail-orientated and technical with an ability to see the big picture

Ability to multi-task, be flexible, and adapt to rapidly changing project requirements and deadlines

Experienced, self-directed professional
