Are you a Senior Building Physics Consultant looking for an exciting new challenge in London? Buro Happold is looking for an experienced Building Physicist with knowledge of the residential market. This role comes with an attractive salary and benefits package plus a hybrid working pattern. 

 

 

Key Duties:

  • Delivering projects, RIBA stage reports and design advice on net zero carbon and wellbeing.

  • Managing residential projects and collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams.

  • Active engagement within relevant industry bodies on net zero carbon.

  • Contributing to fee proposals and pitches for new work.

 

Your Skills and Experience:

  • Relevant technical or engineering Degree and preferably chartered with a relevant professional institution.

  • Knowledge of Building Regulations Part L and Part O, with experience in façade optimisation and building services design.

  • Knowledge of Passivhaus Standard and preferably delivery experience in Passivhaus.

  • An understanding and enthusiasm for Residential projects through all RIBA Stages.

  • Experience of the GLA London Plan requirements including Whole Life Carbon and Circular Economy consultation.

  • Working knowledge of Sustainability assessments (e.g. LEED, HQM, BREEAM, WELL).
