About the role
Staffordshire University has an exciting award portfolio that includes Esports courses at both our London and Stoke on Trent campus’s, having a key focus on practical scholarship, industry relevance and employability.
The university is keen to recruit enthusiastic individuals who will contribute to teaching in the area of Esports. You would be expected to have previously worked in delivering subjects to on-campus students, or distance learners. We are looking to recruit part-time lecturers to deliver classes and project supervisions related to events, social media, creative content, tournaments, and gaming. The team of staff you would be joining teach and support the delivery of modules with both a practical and theoretical focus.
You will be student focused, team-oriented and flexible with excellent communication, interpersonal, organisational and presenting skills. Recent experience of teaching and assessing in HE in either face to face or distance learning mode is desirable, as is experience of module leadership and development.
