The Elms Nursery nurtures babies and toddlers from six weeks to three years, in close association with the well-established Pre-school.  Together, the Pre-school and Nursery ensure there is continuity and progression for its children fifty-one weeks of the year.

The Elms Nursery is rated ‘Outstanding’ (ISI Inspection Report, November 2021) and this means the successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a team delivering to the highest standards possible within Nursery provision. We thrive on being the best we can be, and constantly look to innovate and improve to ensure our Nursery is a happy and healthy environment for our children and our colleagues.

We are looking for a caring and experienced Nursery Nurse of outstanding calibre, qualified to NVQ Level 3. The successful candidate will provide the highest standards of quality care and education, ensuring that health and safety and security measures are excellent for our babies and toddlers.

All staff need to be aware of and act in accordance with current legislation, policy and procedures and contribute to a programme of activities suitable to the age range of children in their area in conjunction with other staff.
