Marketing Specialist (BU5629)
Coordinate field marketing projects, programs, and vendor relationships. Develop and execute against timelines, track performance, and ensure projects align with brand standards. Support all Business Unit (BU) and marketing team initiatives, give actionable field feedback, share best practices, and serve as an advocate and source of information for the company.
MARKETING PROGRAMS :
Champion the donor recapture program for the BU by pulling the lapsed donors report, communicate through approved channels and report on the results of recapture programs.
Support local advertising opportunities including new/existing channels, sponsorship opportunities for ROI, optimization, and overall performance.
Ensure all marketing programs are communicated to staff in a timely manner, creating awareness among staff of current programs.
Maintain a professional image at the centers by ensuring current promotions are posted.
Support the BUs marketing managers to promote the monthly donor promotion.
Support marketing salesforce report request.
- Coordinate between the corporate creative team and the centers to create promotional material and advertising artwork. Ensure collateral pieces are produced correctly and in a timely fashion.
Meet with suitable vendors to assess their products, inquire about their services, and negotiate pricing.
Develop and sustain long-standing relationships with approved vendors.
Work with cross-functional teams to support the center Facebook pages.
Implement the social media engagement plan for the BU in alignment with company-wide social media strategy and brand guidelines.
Support monitoring all social media questions and comments to identify areas of concern.
Directly support the centers’ social media committees
Update social media platforms with center information and operational hours.
Serve as a contact for donor communications during emergencies.
Manage daily administrative tasks to ensure the BU marketing department runs smoothly.
Keep organized records of marketing projects and results of past campaigns.
Finish all paperwork to set up new vendors in the company system, send contracts for approval, and submit invoices for processing.
Work independently and within a team on special nonrecurring and ongoing projects. Act as project coordinator for special projects at the request of the BU marketing manager, to include: planning and coordinating multiple presentations, disseminating information, creating specialized reports and coordinating and distributing meeting minutes.
Education & Experience: B.S. in Marketing or Business or related field required. Minimum of 2+ years working experience in marketing coordination and execution. Experience in plasma or blood collection a plus.
Skills, Knowledge & Abilities: Candidate should have strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Excellent verbal and written communications skills. Ability to analyze and prepare data for presentation purposes. Knowledge of social media platforms. Time management and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize tasks. Effective project and event management skills. Ability to manage personal workflow in order to meet deadlines. Self-motivated, confident, energetic and creative. Ability to travel within the Continental U.S. up to 50%. Ability to work with and around people of diverse cultures and education levels. Ability to work independently.
