Job Description
Flourish Education are recruiting for a History Teacher to work in a ‘good’ secondary school near Edgbaston, this History Teacher role is starting in April until the end of the academic year. Our client aims to provide a learning environment which allows students to reach their personal best in a wide range of ways, they also have many staff perks including free use of onsite gym and swimming pool.
The duties of a History Teacher will involve teaching engaging and informative History lessons across Key stage 3 and 4. This History Teacher role will include whole class responsibilities such as planning, marking, and assessing. This role is predominantly teaching History but will involve covering some RE lessons.
This History Teaching position is full time, starting after Easter until July.

· QTS- Qualified Teacher status in History (NQT’s are encouraged to apply)
· Experience teaching in a UK Secondary School
· Excellent understanding of the Humanities curriculum
· Able to teach History up to Key Stage 4
· A recent School reference.
· Good classroom and behaviour management skills
Responsibilities as a History Teacher
· Whole class teaching responsibilities including planning, marking, and assessing.
· Driving improvements in GCSE grades
· Monitoring and ensuring pupil progress
· Delivering informative but engaging lessons for students across Key stages 3 and 4
