The Company:
EDS HV Group offers high voltage engineering solutions to the renewables industry, from conceptual design, through to installation and operations and maintenance.
EDS has gained extensive experience through working at over 60 wind farms – onshore and offshore – in the UK, Europe and Taiwan.

The Role:
The right candidate will join the finance team at Bamber Bridge, Preston and will be required to assist in various functions within the team such as invoicing, payments and processing queries. This will be a hybrid role (minimum 2/3 days in the office per week) and study support can be offered for the right candidate.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Accounts Payable Support – Correct coding of supplier invoices, processing payments and dealing with queries
  • Coordinate the subcontractor approval process and process payments
  • Posting of Sales invoices and customer receipts to Sage and reconciling to billing system
  • Maintain cashbook and perform all Bank reconciliations
  • Collating monthly expenses and obtain authorisation in timely manner for monthly payroll processing
  • Responsible for company credit cards transactions, downloading statements, chasing receipt, obtaining authorisations and importing all transactions into Sage
  • Assist with Intercompany reconciliations
  • Assist in ad-hoc projects, as required.

The Person:
A team player, you will need excellent communicational skills with good organisational ability. in addition you will need to be confident in your ability with a positive outlook.
You will need to live within a reasonable distance to be able to commute to the Bamber Bridge location.

Experience:
Previous experience of working within a similar role within finance, with good Excel skills and be familiar with Sage.
Studying AAT would be desirable
