Pure are delighted to be working with a market leading organisation who are seeking a temporary Facilities Assistant / Manager to be responsible for the delivery of facilities across the company premises. They key focus for this role is to ensure that all facility management services are delivered in a confident, efficient, and safe manner ensuring the premises are legally compliant and maintained to a high standard. 

You will be able to work in a highly organised, methodical manner, be self-driven, and a team player with the ability to be able to prioritise own workload, have excellent communication, analytical skills, be computer literate and experienced in using MS Office software packages. 

Working alongside the Facilities team, as well as the H&S and Warehouse Manager, you will oversee a range of facilities to include management of works, cleaning, servicing & repairs, emergency response, contract management, security / fire works, building & project works, management of waste & drainage, IT, and more. 

The ideal person will have a minimum of 3 years of FM experience, ideally IWFM qualified. You will have general hands-on minor works experience, H&S management experience, planning and organisation skills, communication skills, attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and essentially, available at short notice as this is an urgent requirement. 

This is a full time position with the working hours covering Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm. The position is office-based in Ipswich. It is predicted to last for 3-6 months.
