Our client in Basingstoke is seeking an Events Administrator to provide administrative support to the Events Coordinator on a day-to-day basis as required.The successful candidate must be a quick learner, organised and a good communicator and will have the ability to work alongside and communicate with employees at all levels of the organisation.

This is a full time temporary hybrid role to start at the beginning of March . The working hours are Monday to Frdiay from 9am until 5pm. The majority of staff currently work from home however it is the expectation that in order to assist with the current workload, the successful candidate will be able to work in the office as requested.

Main Responsibilities:

  • To support the delivery of high quality administrative and event duties as directed (inclusive of but not limited to diary management, event arrangements, managing correspondence and researching)
  • To monitor the team inbox responding to internal and external queries in a timely and accurate manner with a proactive and helpful attitude.
  • To take minutes at meetings when required
  • To support with co-ordinating high quality event management service

Key Tasks:

  • Support with event management e.g booking of premises, transport, refreshments, invitations, seating plans, producing briefing notes, update know how guides, explore and implement best practice for the function
  • To plan, schedule and administer meetings including venue/room booking (via Teams if virtual) providing supporting documentation as needed (agenda, previous minutes) and taking minutes.
  • Support with the producing of risk assessments for events being held
  • To comply with any relevant regulations, professional standards, the company policies and procedures and appropriate legislation
