What You Will Do
This role is responsible for driving strategic direction and delivering enterprise-wide capabilities that reduce Nike’s cloud risk posture. This role is also responsible for driving organizational efficiencies & risk reduction through prioritized automation of security capabilities, reporting and repetitive tasks. These accomplishments are led by this role and accomplished through a team of highly qualified subject matter experts who deliver capabilities into the enterprise that enable efficient, prioritized measures that improve consistency, provide cloud visibility, and enable governance and policy compliance to ensure Nike’s data is increasingly secure. This role conducts & participates in architectural reviews of implementations in all known CSP’s and influences at a cross-organizational level, to ensure Nike’s risk posture is appropriately quantified and maintained. A successful individual in this role will habitually exhibit pragmatic, objective direction and priority setting. Additionally, this role requires a solid presence and ability to understand, collate, and effectively communicate across technical experts and executive leadership with fact-based confidence.
Strategy and roadmap development
Financial forecasting and managing funding for multi-million dollar organization
Big-picture perspective & providing prioritized direction to teams with significant backlogs
Highly organized and pragmatic thinking skills that enable objective, data-driven decisions & directions
Proven record of decision making and direction setting, even in ambiguous situations.
Strong knowledge of cloud architecture: IAAS, PAAS, Containers, Edge, Serverless
Thought leadership, proven experience in a dynamic, Agile/Lean environment
Demonstrated track record of simplifying process, operational excellence, and a focus on metrics and automation.
Demonstrated ability to foster effective collaboration across multiple technical teams and business stakeholders
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a highly collaborative environment
Understands own and constituent’s biases/agendas with changes and successfully navigates to resolution to achieve results
Organized and self-motivated with an ability to prioritize and manage workload
Demonstrated experience and familiarity with AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform and AliCloud
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to use them in consensus building and collaboration
Strong business and technical vision
Who We Are Looking For
CCSP training/studies & Certification a plus
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science; or experience in code development and leadership training
Experience managing teams, including experience with indirect management/influencing
Product owner or Management experience with delivery methodologies in a fast-paced complex environment – Agile, SCRUM.
Demonstrated ability to think strategically, and to communicate the strategy to a larger organization
Thinks strategically, but stays on top of tactical follow through
A collaborative style and a focus on continuous improvement, quality and planning
Demonstrated achievement of results in fast-moving organizations with complex technology applications.
*Remote Work Option – Open to remote work except cannot work in South Dakota, Vermont, and West Virginia. These candidates will be required to relocate.
For employees based in Colorado, this position has an annual base salary range of $163,000 – $269,500.
For employees based in NYC and Westchester County, NY, this position has an annual base salary range of $193,500 – $321,000.
