Wedbush Securities seeks a Digital Product Owner on our Digitaln Strategy team. The Digital Product Owner is a leadership rolen responsible for leading a high-performing team that deliversn exceptional user experiences via our Digital Transformation team.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Serve as the Digital Product Manager for Web, Mobile, andn Workstation (opportunity to expand role into other products, as well)
  • Work and partner within a tight-knit Agile Product team ton achieve successful end-to-end product delivery
  • Identify ongoing needs, gaps and future opportunities for ourn products to provide a best-in-class digital experience for our customers
  • Be the master of JIRA, the Product Roadmap, the Productn Backlog, and managing outstanding Defects. 
  • Lead execution of new features: gather/write businessn requirements, translate into epics/user stories, end-2-endn testing, launch, and defect management
  • Offer ideas on ways to improve our process so that we cann continue to evolve as a Product organization
  • Engage with end-users (Clients, Advisors, Investmentn Associates) across the organization to maintain productiven partnerships to ensure product success
  • Understand, manage, and communicate prioritization of featuresn and needs and be relentlessly focused on ensuring products resultn in wins for both customer and the firm
  • "Roll up sleeves" mentality and comfort in gettingn deep into the technological weeds
  • Perform other tasks and duties as assigned

Experience and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited University required
  • 2+ years product management/business analyst background includingn defining business requirements, writing stories and acceptance criteria
  • Strong experience working heavily with cross-functional partnersn on a daily basis and leveraging those relationships for excellent results
  • Passionate and vocal, with a willingness to learn and collaboraten and work across all levels and backgrounds
  • Ability to influence stakeholders with diverse points of view andn maintain grounded and productive discussions
  • Structured thinker, effective communicator, concise and impactfuln with excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize a large book of work, meetings, teamn dynamics, and overall delivery
  • Demonstrated ability to manage tight delivery timelines andn calmness under pressure
  • Commitment and self-motivation suitable to a start-up team
  • Demonstrable experience working in financial services, digitaln products, online and mobile platforms, etc.
  • Experience working in JIRA

The reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role hasn not been adjusted for the applicable geographic location. A reasonablen estimate of the current range is $96,000-$145,000.  Colleagues may ben eligible for additional, discretionary incentive compensation based onn the individual and the firm's performance.  At Wedbush, it is notn typical for an individual to be hired at, or near, the top of then range for their role. Decisions regarding compensation are determinedn on a case-by-case basis and are dependent on a variety of factorsn including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training;n licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.
