We seek to appoint a Deputy Head (Pastoral). This is an outstanding opportunity for a compassionate, dynamic and aspirant educational leader to shape the pastoral life of this busy and ambitious boarding school. This post is ideally suited to an individual who is considering applying for a Headship within the next five years.
We are dedicated to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of our pupils. Our aim is to develop the full potential of every pupil by providing a safe and caring environment. Key to your role will be ensuring the safeguarding of pupils. You will work closely with our DSL who is our Deputy Head (Safeguarding and Boarding) and Deputy DSLs along with the relevant Heads of Section to ensure compliance with the Department of Education’s ‘Keeping Children Safe in Education’, the Independent School Inspectorate (ISI) regulations and the National Minimum Standards for Boarding Schools.
The successful applicant will take overall responsibility for the full pastoral care of our pupils.
The Deputy Head (Pastoral) reports directly to the Head and will be a member of the Senior Management Team and the Senior Leadership Executive.
