The Client:
VWA is supporting one of the largest global investment firms in private equity with their search for a new CRM Data Steward.
The Data Steward Role:
This role will suit someone with a love of data and a curious mindset.Sitting within the Data Governance team, this newly created role is an exciting opportunity to improve the quality and robustness of the data assets within the firms CRM and other platforms. Key objectives of the role are to work with check tools and systems to ensure data is consistent and accurate across sources, work proactively with other Data Stewards across teams to resolve data discrepancies, and to be involved in producing complex reporting requirements. Day to day responsibilities involve but are not limited to:
Execution of daily, weekly, monthly data related tasks and procedures.
Regular data quality checks such as naming standards and record completeness.
Maintenance of hierarchies and static data for accounts
Historic data cleaning and enrichment activity
Investigating stale data and remedying, as required
The reconciliation of data between multiple systems of record
Assist in the production of complex reporting requirements.
The Successful CRM Data Steward will:
Have a strong attention to detail
A methodical approach along with the ability to deal with repetitious tasks
Strong numerical skills alongside a good understanding of the data lifecycle i.e., data capture, update, usage, data lineage etc
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think proactively
Proven communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to build good working relationships with business stakeholders and maintain a strong customer focus
Previous knowledge of a CRM system, ideally Salesforce, although not essential
Some understanding of finance and private equity, although not essential.

Standard hours are 9:00am – 5.30pm, flexibility required when needed
