Job Title: CNC Machinist - Aerospace 

Location: Wolverhampton

Pay Range/details: £37,000 per annum + shift (Double Days)

Contract Type: Permanent

 

A leading aerospace manufacturer, are currently recruiting for an experienced CNC machinist to join their thriving manufacturing facility in Wolverhampton. The successful CNC Machinist will be tasked with the manufacture of complex mechanical products working to close micron tolerances.

 

Key Responsibilities – CNC Machinist - Aerospace

CNC machining experience utilising Fanuc / Siemens / Heidenhain controls, able to set and run multiple machine/processes.

Working on Millturn machines.

Experience in the setting and operating of either Mazak, Okuma, Hitachi, or Bridgeport milling and turning machines.

The capability of machining exotic and hardened materials.

Carry out own 1st off inspection and check/complete the necessary quality documentation.

Must be able to verify dimensions and alignment with measuring instruments such as gauges, CMMs, and shadowgraphs.

 

Qualifications & Requirements – CNC Machinist – Aerospace

A recognised engineering apprenticeship.

Experience in engineering/manufacturing roles ideally within the aerospace industry.

Perform difficult CNC Machinist work where very close tolerances must be maintained.

Good knowledge of machining techniques & appropriate tooling.
