We are seeking a passionate member to join our kitchen team.
Fins is a vibrant , fast paced, lively beach cafe. We are looking for someone who is passionate about food and will go the extra mile .
Candidates will have experience in the catering industry in a high-volume environment and be up to date with industry trends and creative menu planning skills. We welcome creative ideas and incorporate these into our changing menu which has a focus on high quality, healthy and locally sourced food.
You will need to be well organised and keep up to working in fast paced environments. Present food artistically and be able to cope under pressure. We will support you in getting to know our menu and and we will give you the chance to create daily specials as soon as you are ready to, and we are really happy for you to contribute to our main menu.

What will you be doing?
- Directing the food preparation process and delegating tasks
- Cooking and preparing high quality dishes
- Have creative influence in the development of the menu
- Being responsible for health and safety
- Being responsible for food hygiene practices
- Ensuring food quality and excellent standards are maintained for all dishes created
- Assisting with determining food inventory needs, stocking and ordering
- Ensuring the kitchen meets all regulations including sanitary and food safety guidelines
