Your role at Tony's
We are looking for a Category Executive to join our UK&I team! The #1 objective of this role is to turn data into killer insights to not only help grow the wider category but also Tony’s Chocolonely which in turn helps us make even more impact.
As our new Category Executive, you will be managing all of our internal and external data sources from start to finish (sourcing of the data, its formatting, and its delivery in comprehensive reports to the wider business) and provide valuable insights to the business. Together with the category manager, you will help drive the commercial agenda and develop and enhance the relationships with our retail customers to grow our brand.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about, and has experience with, data (BIG bonus if you have category management experience!), has an entrepreneurial spirit, and ultimately someone who will help us change the choco industry from within! This role is part of the UK&I team and reports to the Category Manager.
Are you ready to raise the bar with us? Here’s what you will do:

Manage all data sources from start to finish, including their sourcing, formatting and delivery in comprehensive reports
- Turn data into actionable insights to identify category growth, brand and distribution opportunities as well as any risks
- Monitor business performance and help in communicating it clearly both internally and externally to ensure we’re always front of mind with our buyers and are spotting opportunities/risks early on
- Build impactful relationships both internally and externally.
Requirements:
- Experience in category management, ideally within FMCG
- Experience in analysing market reports, managing data, monitoring business performance and communicating the results clearly
- Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and think outside the box
- Ability to communicate with people across all different levels, nationalities, and cultures within and outside the organisation
- You can commute to our London office weekly (where you’ll be based)
