Salary: Qualified* Teacher- £20.63 per hour

Unqualified Teacher- £16.35 per hour

Location: Harlow.

Do you want to earn some additional income or thinking about getting into teaching?

Harlow College is currently looking for dynamic and inspirational individuals to support adult learners with the development of specific vocational skills and knowledge to enable them to gain new expertise and progress their careers.

We are looking for industry experts or experienced teachers/trainers to deliver evening classes to adult learners covering the following vocational areas:

  • Electrical

Courses will be delivered over 2 evenings a week and between 5.30 and 8.30pm.

The Employability, Innovation and Skills Academy deliver a wide range of evening courses that are aimed at helping adults gain the knowledge and skills to retrain or progress further in their career. We work closely with local employers and other partners to run courses that are tailored to the current labour market. These can range from development of core skills specifically related to the vocational sector the qualification sits in as well as the practical skills required to work within the industry.

These courses are delivered via face-to-face classroom teaching as well as virtually in an online classroom. The successful candidate will be required to have a flexible approach to working, as courses will be delivered during the evening either from Harlow College campus or Stansted Airport College.
