Job Description
We are looking for a 2nd live-in Carer/Support worker to help care for my young female adult daughter with severe learning disabilities.
Start ASAP
(This position is with 2 carers working with her each day due to her mobility needs and accompanying her to Day Care).
She requires all personal care, stimulation, physio, care with oral feeding, and when Covid safe, accompanying her to fabulous Day Care Centre.
She has a very safe tracheostomy/laryngectomy, and occasional seizures from which she can take time to recover. No behaviour issues and is usually very happy and sociable. Full training provided for Trachy etc.
We are looking for someone who is good fun with a sense of humour, reliable, proactive, able to anticipate and react quickly, uses their initiative, loves to play, hard-working and motivated.
Excellent English is a MUST due to her limited understanding.
Applicants MUST also be in the UK already and available to start immediately, we cannot help with VISA's or sponsorship.
Good rates of pay starting at £160pd with clinical training and sign-off for Trachy and Epilepsy provided
Live in can also have 1-2 days off each week by arrangement if required.
Plenty of opportunity to make this an ongoing position that can be flexible with on/off rotas etc.
We will also be travelling to Cyprus asap for 6 weeks so would need you to accompany us there. (either EU or British Passport required)
Car driver/owner essential.
This is on an employed basis with 28 days paid annual leave and a Pension fund.
DBS required and some mandatory training.
