Responsibilities

One of the most important things is having that strong communication to work with all departments. This is a hands-on management opportunity with the Accounting Manager and Senior Accountant reporting to you.
Oversee the corporate accounting and annual/quarterly audit
Review payroll batches and employee allocations
Responsible for tax and reporting/filings
Travel once a quarter to San Francisco (day or two at a time)

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a related field.
4-6 years experience; CPA & Public nice to have
Strong leadership: develop, coach, mentor team of two (Accounting Manager & Senior Accountant)
Strong accountability and meticulous detail in preparing accurate and timely work product with limited input/rework required by manager, including clear supporting data/schedules
Thorough understanding of accrual-based accounting and accounting concepts required for the role in accordance with GAAP and internal reporting requirements
Ensures strict adherence to all internal controls
