In this fascinating role at the heart of local government you will work as a member of a small business support team within the CET Department.
You will have lead responsibility for coordinating all correspondence and assist with scheduling regular diary appointments for the Director and Assistant Directors, organising high level meetings and events, managing forward plans, preparing agendas, coordinating reports and taking minutes for meetings, so organisational skills are essential.
Dynamic, flexible, curious and able to run with anything, you will be discreet with excellent judgement and able to maintain confidentiality.
The successful candidate will be given the full support of the organisation in gaining a professional qualification while in the role.
Due to the department’s commitment to partnership working, and the collaboration required both within the team and across the Council, you should be excellent at building relationships at all levels.
It is essential that you have Microsoft Office skills and last but not least, you’ll be a natural at customer care.
